ONE HAND PINCH LIFT THE 47.6K ANVIL
The Anvil weighs 47.6k, and the top 'the face' measures 97mm across the width.
OVERHAND GRIP HANG OFF A 60MM THICK BAR
Timing starts as soon as your feet leave the floor, and stops when you fall off, or touch the floor again.
Your bodyweight is scaled in kilograms before the attempt, and this number is multiplied by the amount of seconds you hang from the bar for. This gives you a final score.

We have a 78k Inch dumbell manufactured by the Holle's, and a 54k dumbell for the women.
Inch Dumbell Deadlifts and holds (no tilt) - Rules
1. Place the Ikea 'Kalas' tumbler/cup on each globe.
This kind of tumbler is very inexpensive. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10096907/
2. Just like the One Hand Deadlift rules, lift the dumbell till the handle is pulled to a height of mid knees or above, and then replace it to the floor with the cups still standing on the globes. When the bell touches the floor it is fine if they come off then.
3. For Holds, the timing starts when the bell leaves the floor, and finishes when a cup falls off, or the dumbell is released.

From L-R; 45lb Ben (from U.S.A.), 25k Hampton (24.85k), and then the old Walker Berg discs (22.45k & 24.2k).
We have picked some serious discs for this challenge; starting at the 25k Hampton weight, which stops the majority of people, right up to the old 1930s Walker Berg weights with their sloping and shallow hubs - these I've never seen hubbed!
For the women we have the 45lb Ben disc kindly brought over from USA by my friend Steve McGranahan "The World's Strongest Redneck".
These discs will be lifted by the hub, and held for time. Usual Hub Lift rules apply.

GIGER GAUGE GRIPPERS
The Giger Gripper Gauge pictured with the World Class gripper
The gauge looks as though it has been devised by H.R. Giger, and the challenge is something that will contribute nicely to your Silver Bullet training. Although a lot tougher!
We have picked some hefty grippers for this challenge; starting at the #4 by IronMind and rising to the mighty World Class gripper made by Warren Tetting.
The gauge can be adjusted from 40mm down to 1.6mm, weighs 0.492k and is slippy. The top 15mm of the gauge is held in the jaw of the gripper for time.

'HORNEY BEAST' BLOB
Gary Komora brought over a new challenge for the Grip Factory. This challenge is a beautifully crafted stainless steel blob inscribed with the name the "Horney Beast Blob", and unlike a real blob it has no easy side for your thumb, as it has two very curved sides. It is inscribed that it weighs 48.1lb.
